LOVEGROVE NAMED AMONGST INTERCHANGES

13 Feb 2016

TRIALIST Rhys Lovegrove has been named in the 17-man squad for this evening’s game versus Whitehaven.

The former Hull KR forward, who spent seven years at the Super League club and made over 130 appearances, will make his Bulls debut from the bench.

Head Coach James Lowes has made one change from last Sunday’s starting 13, as Scotland international Dale Ferguson replaces Ben Kavanagh to start in the second row with Kurt Haggerty.

The backs remain the same as Richie Mathers continues at full-back with James Clare and hat-trick hero Omari Caro occupying the wings, as Kris Welham and Adrian Purtell partner each other in the centre.

Lee Gaskell plays alongside Scotland star Danny Addy in the halves, whilst Tom Olbison moves into the front row alongside Adam O’Brien and Adam Sidlow, and Jay Pitts makes up the starting line up at loose.

Former NRL forward Mitch Clark will make his Bulls debut from the interchanges and is joined on the bench by Matty Blythe, Alex Mellor and Lovegrove.

Joe Lumb and Johnny Walker miss out on selection this week.
