INJURIES proved costly as Bradford Bulls fell to a 16-0 defeat at the hands of Hull Kingston Rovers this afternoon.

Skipper Matt Diskin was helped from the field nine minutes in and was followed, shortly after, by front-rower Adam Sidlow.

The pair were deemed unable to return to action and the hosting Rovers made the most of their absence, galloping into a two-try lead inside the opening quarter.

Craig Sandercock’s side were 12-unanswered points to the good by half-time, despite the Bulls’ best efforts.

And they moved further ahead following the restart, sealing their first two points of the 2014 campaign.
