ACADEMY IN BIG WIN AT CASTLEFORD

Centre Joe Wardle finished with a haul of 22 points but it was Cain Southernwood who was the star of the show as the Bulls defeated Castleford Tigers 62-22 at the Jungle.

 

The Scrum Half produced a virtuoso performance, full of pace and organisational skills as he crafted out try after try for his colleagues. For the Bulls, who led 32-16 at the break, Winger Ethan Hawksworth and Centre Rob Hawthorne both scored two tries whilst Joe Wardle also scored a brace and kicked seven goals.  Other scorers for the Bulls, for whom Back Row Forward Andy Tate was outstanding, were Sothernwood, Liam Kay, Ady Raw, Adam O'Brien, who was a constant thorn in the Tiger's side, George Burgess and Andy Tate.

There were also big performances from Tom Burgess and Michael Tate

The Bulls Under 16's side are also in action against Castleford this week when the take on the Tigers at Castleford Panthers ground on Saturday at 12:00 noon.
