ACADEMY IN VICTORY OVER WIDNES

Joe Wardle starred as the Bulls Academy won a hard fought game 30-26 in their Valvoline Academy Championship game at the Grattan Stadium, Odsal.

Wardle, playing at Centre, was at the hub of everything for the Bulls and finished with a Try and three Goals in a game that was delayed for ninety minutes because of an incident on the M62, which delayed the Widnes coach.

Rob Hawthorne (2) Tom Storey (2) and Kyle Williamson were the other Bulls scorers.
