UNDER 20'S LOSE OUT AT LEEDS

Tries to JessJoe Sheriffe, Tom Olbison and Andy Smith, were not enough to prevent the Bulls Under 20's from a 22-14 defeat to a strong Rhinos side in appalling conditions at Stanningley ARLFC.

The Rhinos fielded a side including, Paul McShane, Jay Pitts, Chris Clarkson, Tom Bush and Michael Coady, who had featured in the First Team at Headingley in the past fortnight and despite early Bulls pressure it was man of the match McShane who carved out the opening try for Coady.  Bulls hit back within five minutes when a fine kick by Southernwood was fumbled by the Leeds defence and Sheriffe got to the loose ball first.

It was three tries either side of the break that did for the Bulls and, from being well in the game at 4-6 they suddenly found themselves trailing 4-22. For the past half hour of the game the light and the conditions deteriorated but the Bulls fought manfully and had tries to Tom Olbison and Andy Smith, with Danny Addy converting Olbison's try but depute further pressure the home side held out for the victory.
