RUNNING WITH THE BULLS A BIG SUCCESS
Running with the Bulls, the photographic exhibition celebrating the highs and lows of the Bradford Bulls first fifteen years in Super League, was officially opened on Thursday to rave reviews.
The exhibition, which runs until May 16th at the Bradford 1 Gallery, in Centenary Square, attracted a large number for its official launch including Bulls Coach, Steve McNamara and Stuart Reardon, Dave Halley, James Donaldson and Elliott Whitehead.
Members of the Bradford Bulls Foundation were there to here the Chairman and General Manager of the Bulls, praise the four people who had put together the photographs and other memorabilia. John Mason, John Downes, Martin Bass and John Priestly have all put their time and energy into making the exhibition a big success.
The Pictures cover the entire fifteen year period of Super League together with quotes from Matt Elliott, Brian Noble and Steve McNamara. Stuart Readon's award for winning the Harry Sunderland Trophy against Wigan in the Grand Final of 2003 is also on display along with other memorabilia from the Super League era.
Jane Glaister, Bradford Council's strategic director of culture, tourism and sport spoke on behalf of the Council and Michael Callaghan, the Curator of the Bradford Industrial Museum also spoke about the exhibition and his department's work in staging it.
The photographs were all taken by Gillian Duckett, Dave Williams and Ian Beesley and Gillian Duckett attended the launch and spoke to the various media who covered the event.
On Thursday March 18th there will be a special event purely for Bulls Members when players from the Super League era will also be in attendance.
