I thought it was a great second half performance last week; in fact it was one of the best comebacks I have ever been involved in.   The situation of the game, the start that Wigan have had to the season, being 20-0 down with the quality of their side, made the comeback all the more remarkable and to go on and win the game late on shows the character and the team spirit and determination of the group of players we have got at Bradford.  More

ACADEMY MUCH TOO STRONG FOR GIANTS

Hat Tricks to Danny Addy and Tom Olbison helped the Bulls Academy to a 60 points to 8 victory over the Giants in their penultimate Gillette Champions Academy game at the Grattan Stadium.

The Bulls proved much too strong for the Giants and led 24-4 at the break courtesy of tries to Addy, Olbison, Rob Hawthorne and Ben Hellewell with Addy converting all four.

The second period saw the Bulls disrupted with injuries to half backs, Liam Kay and Joe Wardle, who both had to Leave the field but finished much the stronger side.  Impressive Hooker Adam O'Brien broke twice in five minutes to create both of Addy's second half tries and Liam Mackay, Hellewell, with his second and George Burgess all crossed before Olbison completed his Hat Trick with the final two tries of the game.

Danny Addy finished with a haul of 28 points from three tries and eight goals.
