I thought it was a great second half performance last week; in fact it was one of the best comebacks I have ever been involved in.   The situation of the game, the start that Wigan have had to the season, being 20-0 down with the quality of their side, made the comeback all the more remarkable and to go on and win the game late on shows the character and the team spirit and determination of the group of players we have got at Bradford.  More

GODWIN PLEASED WITH COMEBACK

Hooker Wayne Godwin was delighted to come through his first competitive outing after 15 weeks out with a broken leg.

He was part of the Bulls Reserve Grade team that defeated Leeds Rhinos 24-20 at Headingley on Friday tea-time.

Godwin, who scored one of the Bulls' four tries, told Bradford Telegraph and Argus Reporter Bill Marshall:

"It was great to get 70 minutes under my belt and it went well.  I enjoyed playing alongside some of the youngsters like Steve Crossley and Kieran Hyde, and we had experience too with the likes of Michael Platt and Jode Sheriffe. It may have been Reserve Grade but it is always nice to beat Leeds and the lads were buzzing afterwards, but I felt like I had been hit by a bus when I got up on Saturday morning I was so stiff!"
