RESERVES IN WARRINGTON VICTORY
Tries to Full Back Ben Hellewell, Second Row Forwards, Elliott Whitehead and Tom Olbison and Prop Rick Barr helped the Bulls Reserves to 22-18 victory over Warrington at Wilderspool on Saturday.
With the Academy having no game, the Bulls took the opportunity to use some of the younger players and it paid off, condeming Warrington to only their third defeat of the season. Ben Hellewell, Joe Wardle, Tom Olbison, James Donaldson and Tom Lillycrop, were all added to the squad and played their part in a tremendous victory.
The Bulls trailed 12-10 at the break but fought back well to turn the tide on their opponents with some fine play. Steve Crossley and Elliott Whitehead worked tirelessly in the Bulls pack and the back three, Olbison, Whitehead and Donaldson were outstanding as a unit. Hellewell, Whitehead, Barr and Tom Olbison all crossed for tries with Joe Wardle, who spent ten minutes in the sin bin and and Karl Wroe adding a goal each.
