CROOKES TO MISS REST OF SEASON
Bradford Bulls have suffered further injury blows with the news that Centre Jason Crookes will miss the rest of the season after suffering Cruciate Ligament damage.
Full Back Kieran Hyde has also picked up an injury. He has broken his scaphoid and will be out for between six and eight weeks
Crookes hurt his knee in the game against Wakefield Wildcats on Easter Monday and a MRI Scan yesterday confirmed the player's worst fears. Hyde damaged his wrist in the Reserve Grade game at Castleford and, though the initial prognosis was good, a break has now been confirmed.
Bulls Coach Steve McNamara is disappointed for for both players.
"Jason is a young player who had just got himself on the edge of the First Team, having made three appearances and it's very disappointing. He was providing us with good cover and trying to establish himself in our First Team."
"Kieran Hyde is another outside back and injuries are starting to stack up in that area. He too is very disappointed, having been 18th man last week and there's no doubt these injuries are a blow for us but we will just have to cope with them with the players who are available."
