BULLS CAPTURE JUNIORS

Bradford Bulls have today announced they have beaten off competition from several Super League clubs to capture two highly rated juniors.

John Murphy, a second row forward from Siddal ARLFC in Halifax and Robert Hawthorne, a Centre from Queensbury, have both agreed four year contracts with the club.  Both players are products of the Bulls Scholarship system and have come through the RFL’s elite programme.

Bulls Head of Youth Development, Paul Medley, is delighted with the quality of players coming into the club.

“I am absolutely delighted that we have managed to secure the signature of these two very talented players.  They are both local lads who are committed to and want to play for the Bulls.  They have both been looked at by other clubs and we are very pleased they have chosen Bradford Bulls as the place where they can best develop as players for the future.  Together with the eleven players we signed last year, Robert and John are further proof that we are signing only the best talent at this age group as we build towards and exciting future at the Grattan Stadium and there will be making further announcements shortly.”
