BULLETTES HAVE PANACHE FOR 2009

The Bradford Bulls have teamed up with Panache Cheer School to provide the elite squad and junior academy for the Bullettes cheerleaders for the forthcoming season.

The Head Coach of Panache Cheer is Robyn Morrison, the wife of Bulls star Glenn Morrison. Having had experience cheerleading both here in England and back home in her native Australia, Robyn's credentials speak for themself. Panache cheer has been built up over the last two years since the Morrison family moved to England and now teaches over 400 students per week in Bradford and the wider community.

Cheerleading has now become associated with British Gymnastics and since the rise of popular films such as the High School Musical trilogy, is now an ever-increasing way to keep fit.

Commenting on the Panache Cheer, Bulls General Manager, Ryan Duckett said:

"As well as enhancing our gameday experience this partnership with Panache Cheer is a great extension of our Community program.  We hope the link with the Club's elite Cheerleading team will encourage even more children to participate in the in the classes that Robyn and her team provide.  Everyone involved in the Cheer classes will have the opportunity to perform at the Grattan Stadium in front of the Bulls fans and the program is a fantastic opportunity for children to have fun and keep fit."

Robyn cannot wait for her pupils to show their skills at the Grattan Stadium:

"It's great to be involved with the Bulls to get a lot of children in the Bradford area to get involved with cheerleading. I'm really excited to give them the opportunity to perform at the Bulls games.

Andrew Burns, Bradford City Council's Business Development Manager said: "It is great to see so many youngsters being given this opportunity to take part in such a physically demanding but fun exercise such as cheerleading. They will now have the opportunity to take their cheerleading to a bigger stage."

He continued, "Our B-Active campaign is all about targeting hard to reach groups such as young children and encouraging them to take part in more physical activity regardless of their ability and the Panache classes have done this with great results."
