SIX JOIN BULLS
Bradford Bulls have announced the signing of six players from their Under 16’s Scholarship side of last season.
All have been in the Bulls system and have impressed sufficiently to be given a contract by the club.
Josh Greenwood – McDonald is a Stand Off who was a member of the England Under 16’s Squad that toured France earlier this year and is from the King Cross Amateur Club in Halifax. Also joining from King Cross are Jacob Farrell, a centre and Isaac Pollard a Loose Forward. Another Halifax product is Sam Bates, who is a Prop/Second Row Forward and who played for Siddall ARLFC.
Nick Gomersall is a Half Back and joins from Hunslet Parkside and Todd Binns, a Winger from the West Bowling ARLFC complete this year’s signings.
Bulls Head of Youth Paul Medley said:
“I’d like to thank the players for their patience in what has been a difficult situation. Until the future of the club was ratified by the RFL we were not in a position to offer contracts but they all held back until we were able to do so. These signings are further proof that the Bulls are back in business and continuing to develop players through their Scholarship and Academy systems.
All six have shown throughout the season that they have what it takes to warrant a contract with the Bulls and they will all be given every opportunity to make a successful career in Rugby League.”
