Coaching Staff
Steve McNamara (Head Coach)

Steve had an outstanding playing career with Hull, Bradford, Wakefield and Huddersfield before returning to Odsal and joining the Coaching staff. Steve was one of the most popular players in his time at the Bulls and his experience has been vital in working with the young players at the Club. Since taking over from Brian Noble in April 2006, Steve has become one of the RFL’s Elite Coaches and was assistant to England Coach Tony Smith. Steve has totally overhauled the club’s Youth Development system since being appointed Head Coach.
Lee St. Hilaire (Assistant Coach)

Lee joined the club as Assistant Coach in the middle of 2006 from Wakefield. He previously spent many years as a player and coach at Huddersfield. Lee also played for Castleford and Hunslet and is the brother of former Bulls player Marcus St Hilaire.
Geoff Evans (Head of Physical Performance)

Geoff is the newest addition to the Bulls backroom team. He has a wealth of experience in Rugby League, Union and Soccer and is responsible for all aspects of the Bulls Physical Performance from the First Team Squad through to the Academy. He is also a qualified Nutritionist and has worked at several Universities in the field of Sports Science.
Paul Medley (Head of Youth Development)

Paul has been with the club since the late 1980’s and enjoyed success here as a player. He has worked with the club’s Juniors since retiring and is now in charge of Junior Recruitment. He runs the club’s highly successful Scholarship scheme and oversees all matters of Junior Development at the club. He has recently been appointed as Head of Youth Development at the club and is now in his twenty first year at the club.
Stuart Barrow (Player Performance Manager)

Stuart took up the position of Player Performance Manager in January 2009. He was formerly at Castleford and he led their Academy to their highest position for many years and into the Play Off's for the first time in 2008. He has a Sports Science Degree and was formerly at Luton University as Sports Development Officer. Whilst there he formed Luton Vipers ARLFC in the Summer Conference.
Martin Higgins (Physiotherapist)

Martin joined the club in 2007 after formerly working with both Leeds Tykes and Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Club. Martin has been an excellent addition to the Bulls Backroom Staff and has the full confidence of the Bulls players in his management of their injuries.
