Well it all went wrong in the last twenty minutes at Warrington.  We started well enough and scored some points but we made far too many errors.  All the errors we made were unforced too and things like dropping the ball in our own quarter meant we had far too much tackling to do and that came back to bite us on the backside late in the game. We defended our try line really well in the first half and we were proud of that effort but eventually it took its toll and cost us dearly at the end.  More

What We Do

Since its inception in 1995 the Bradford Bulls Development team have been viewed by many in Rugby League as the forerunners of Community Development programmes. Our provision of Multi-Sports programmes throughout the whole of the Bradford Community has been second to none and has been innovative and exciting bringing in new spectators and participants into the sporting environment. The Bulls Community Development Team has endeavoured to service the entirety of the 159 Primary Schools, 28 Secondary Schools and in 2006 have begun to develop programmes to deliver in the 11 Special Schools within the region.

What do we do?

The Community Development Department pride's itself on the production and delivery of fun, exciting, innovative and educational sporting activities within a Multi-Sport and Rugby League context.

The Development team have and continue to deliver successful programmes such as:

  • Bull Tag
  • B-Active Challenge
  • Bulls B-Active
  • B-Active Fit Club
  • B-Linked Programme
  • Mentoring Project - Try Project
  • Attendance Project
  • SEAL's Assemblies
  • RFL Coach Education
  • Bull Whip Challenge

The programmes and activities that we deliver cover the provisions of curriculum time, after school and school holidays and are all linked to the National Curriculum to enhance the development of young people.

The Community Department also plays a large role in the Bulls Game Day Experience at The Grattan Stadium co-ordinating pre match, half time and post match activities.

Fundamentals of Rugby League

The Bulls believe that Rugby League is a fully inclusive and enjoyable activity that all children can and continue to experience, to whatever level they feel they can achieve and work towards.

Therefore in order to maximise participation and ensure that the sporting activity the young people participate in leaves a lasting and enjoyable experience we base our programmes on the following philosophy and structure of coaching.

The following Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model has been adopted by many sports, Rugby League and the Rugby Football League Coach Education Programme being one of them.
