Well it all went wrong in the last twenty minutes at Warrington.  We started well enough and scored some points but we made far too many errors.  All the errors we made were unforced too and things like dropping the ball in our own quarter meant we had far too much tackling to do and that came back to bite us on the backside late in the game. We defended our try line really well in the first half and we were proud of that effort but eventually it took its toll and cost us dearly at the end.  More

1863 - 1900: In the Beginning

1863: The original Bradford Rugby Club is created founded by Oates Ingham, owner of a Dye works in Thornton Road.

1880 Merge with Bradford Cricket Athletic & Football Club move to Park Avenue.

1884: Bradford win the Yorkshire Challenge Cup Trophy. Between 1880 and 1895 becoming one of the countries most successful Rugby clubs, supplying players for Yorkshire and England.

1895: Bradford are among 22 clubs that secede from the Rugby Football Union after an historic meeting at The George Hotel in Huddersfield, in response to a long running dispute over "broken time" payments to players. These 22 clubs form the Northern Rugby Union.
