I thought it was a great second half performance last week; in fact it was one of the best comebacks I have ever been involved in. The situation of the game, the start that Wigan have had to the season, being 20-0 down with the quality of their side, made the comeback all the more remarkable and to go on and win the game late on shows the character and the team spirit and determination of the group of players we have got at Bradford. 1863 - 1900: In the Beginning

1863: The original Bradford Rugby Club is created founded by Oates Ingham, owner of a Dye works in Thornton Road.

1880 Merge with Bradford Cricket Athletic & Football Club move to Park Avenue.

1884: Bradford win the Yorkshire Challenge Cup Trophy. Between 1880 and 1895 becoming one of the countries most successful Rugby clubs, supplying players for Yorkshire and England.

1895: Bradford are among 22 clubs that secede from the Rugby Football Union after an historic meeting at The George Hotel in Huddersfield, in response to a long running dispute over "broken time" payments to players. These 22 clubs form the Northern Rugby Union.
