Be A Ball Boy/Girl
The Bradford Bulls Foundation would like to inform any interested persons, that there are currently no openings for Ball Boys/Girls or other related roles for the 2010 Season, with the latest application process closing on Wednesday 24th June. However, although applications are not currently being considered please feel free, using the information below, to submit your application for whichever role you wish and it will be considered when the next application process opens!
Ball Boy/Girl
Ideally aimed at individuals between the ages of 12-16 years (Year 8 to Year 11) being a Ball Boy/ Girl offers a great way to develop key skills such as communication, team work and organisation as well as many other important aspects, valuable for both working life and life in general.
As well as presenting a fun and alternative avenue to develop these essential life skills, it also allows those with an interest in Bradford Bulls or the sport in general to get an insight into the workings of a professional sports club, and help in supporting its provision.
Ball Boy/ Girl Co-ordinator
Ideally aimed at an individual completing sports related study at Further or Higher Education level, the Ball Boy/Girl Co-ordinator role offers a great way to further develop key skills through holding a position of responsibility for and providing support to the club's Ball Boys/Girls during our home Reserve & Academy fixtures.
Similar to the position of Ball Boy/Girl, this role also allows those with an interest in Bradford Bulls or the sport in general to get an insight into the workings of a professional sports club and help in supporting its provision. It is envisaged that the benefits to the requested type of applicant will be greater due to the opportunity to put both the theory learnt through study into a practical context and to undertake valuable extra-curricular voluntary work- highly regarded by any future employer, whilst also potentially providing a step-ladder to further voluntary or employment opportunities with our organisation.
If you, or someone you know, are interested in applying for either of the roles outlined above please complete the relevant forms found below (Please note: for the Co-ordinator's role please enclose an up-to-date C.V with the application form) and send them to;
Katie Meyerhoff, Community Development Co-ordinator, Bradford Bulls RLFC, Grattan Stadium Odsal, Bradford, BD6 1BS.
