Community Foundation Introduction
Over the past fifteen years, Bradford Bulls has been one of most successful rugby clubs of either code in the world. However, its glamour, success, brand and influence is not only confined to the sports field; the club operates one of the most effective and innovative Community Development Programmes in British sport.
Throughout its existence, the club has cultivated an enviable reputation as a vibrant and popular component and supporter of the local community, enjoying in return massive support and affection.
The Bradford Bulls Foundation utilises and enhances this profile, aiming to provide and deliver a range of services and activities for the benefit of the community. The Foundation draws upon the Bulls profile and its ability to achieve its objectives, with the club uniquely positioned to encourage and welcome the involvement of all constituencies.
Through its activities, the Foundation explores new ways of supporting learning development and education regardless of age and gender; promotes health and welfare, encourage's social inclusion and cohesion, embraces and celebrates diverse communities, whilst in the process, maximizes opportunities to champion citizenship and the region, whilst growing civic pride in the City of Bradford.
As a direct consequence of its actions, the Foundation seeks to encourage and nurture talent, harnessing it for future well-being. It supports, where possible, artistic and cultural activity, sporting and recreational pursuits, and ensures that a significant, positive and sustainable contribution is made to both economic regeneration and environmental and community heritage.
