Community Projects
Annual Bull Tag Event
The annual Bull Tag event held each year at the Grattan Stadium, Odsal is a collaborative event between the Bull's Foundation, Bradford Council, RFL, RFU and the South Bradford School Sports Partnership. Bringing together children from over 60 primary schools across Bradford & Keighley, the event has been and continues to be hugely successful, utilising the many Junior Rugby League Leaders who have been trained throughout the year as match officials, assistant coaches or Team ‘bud
dies'.
Assembly Programme
Another long-standing feature of our community provision the Assembly Programme focuses on three key themes; Healthy Lifestyles (encompassing Nutrition, Physical Activity and Self-Esteem), RESPECT (encompassing Anti-Bullying and Anti-Racism), and Team Building. Chosen for their relevance to the local area's need, the Foundation's aims and objectives, and the RFL's core values, these assemblies continue to deliver key information in a fun and interactive way utilising the club's brand and profile.

Community Club Connection
The long established ‘Community Club Connection' offers various opportunities to promote junior development, from Coaching Workshops to Cash-back and Skills sessions to Half-time teams, the Connection scheme is all encompassing- last year returning just under £2,000 to local clubs!

Community Rugby League Coaching and Holiday Activities
As part of the national roll-out of Community Rugby League Coaches following Sport England investment, the Foundation has been responsible for part-funding three posts which aim to develop and provide further opportunities for Rugby League within the Bradford & Keighley Service Area.
This provision lends support, guidance and coaching to many different aspects of Rugby League within the locality including Primary and Secondary School delivery, Carnegie Champion Schools competition, Holiday Activity sessions and both Bradford & Keighley Community Clubs and Service Area representative sides.

Heritage
Traditional heritage activities such as Stadium Tours and the archiving of club memorabilia continue. Recently the Foundation has also been successful in attaining £200,000 of Heritage Lottery Funding to support a new historic project, ‘Past Times'. This project, which aims to study and document Odsal Stadium beyond its traditionally recognised role, considers its cultural and social part in the city of Bradford during the period from 1934 to 1966.

Integrated Youth Service
This project is funded by sectors of the Integrated Youth Service and the Foundation, with the posts full-time worker being responsible for engaging young people aged 13-19 in ‘diversionary' activities. This project which has multiple facets, looks to promote positive behaviours and support, whilst aiming to assist in the reduction of crime rates by engaging those who are in alternative/ or no education and who may currently be/ or are at risk of offending.

Stampede Study Centre
The ICT equipped Stampede Study Centre is the Grattan Stadium Odsal's very own educational classroom funded by the Club, Education Bradford and the Department of Children, Schools and Families (DCSF). With evening provision for both primary and secondary school pupils, aiming to improve skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT as part of the national ‘Playing for Success' initiative, plus a host of alternative day-time provision's, the centre is renowned for being a motivating and innovative place to learn.

Youth Café
This newly refurbished facility based at the Grattan Stadium Odsal is a hub of activity for local youth, courtesy of the Integrated Youth Service, the Foundation and of course the young people themselves who contributed to the successful funding application. Providing support, educational attainment opportunities and positive activities for 13-19 year olds on selected evenings, weekends and during holiday periods, the Youth Café fills a much needed gap in Children and Young People's services within Bradford.
