Well it all went wrong in the last twenty minutes at Warrington.  We started well enough and scored some points but we made far too many errors.  All the errors we made were unforced too and things like dropping the ball in our own quarter meant we had far too much tackling to do and that came back to bite us on the backside late in the game. We defended our try line really well in the first half and we were proud of that effort but eventually it took its toll and cost us dearly at the end.  More

The Bulls dominated the game and led 22-2 at the break with tries from Brad Meyers, Brett Ferres and Leon Pryce.

The home side threatened a comeback at the start of the second half when Gareth Carvell touched down.

But Bradford were not to be denied, Paul Deacon kicking 18 points and Stuart Reardon, Karl Pryce and Leon Pryce adding another three tries.

"We were very pleased at half-time," said man-of-the-match Deacon. We let if slip a little in the second half but it's a tough place to come. We are made up with the two points."

The Bulls face St Helens in their next game, with coach Brian Noble admitting his team will need to be at their best again if they are to grab another win, "That's another step up for us and I think we are ready," said the Great Britain boss.

Hull boss John Kear was hugely disappointed with the defeat but heaped praise on the visitors.

"You've got to applaud Bradford for the way they performed," he said. "They came here with great steel and resolve and blew us apart in the first half. We've come off four wins so perhaps we've gone a little soft mentally. We've got to be tougher and make sure we front up because we've got a heck of a game next Friday against Leeds."
