Waggas Words Small

Well it all went wrong in the last twenty minutes at Warrington.  We started well enough and scored some points but we made far too many errors.  All the errors we made were unforced too and things like dropping the ball in our own quarter meant we had far too much tackling to do and that came back to bite us on the backside late in the game. We defended our try line really well in the first half and we were proud of that effort but eventually it took its toll and cost us dearly at the end.  More

The Bulls ran in nine tries in total with Iestyn Harris and Karl Pryce helping themselves to two touchdowns apiece.

The Centurions started brightly but were unable to get any points on the board as Ian Knott passed straight into touch and the Bulls made them pay with their first decent attack.

Scrum-half Paul Deacon wrong-footed the home defence with an excellent pass for half-back partner Harris and the Welshman crossed comfortably and Deacon added the extras.

Karl Pryce almost set up a second try but his pass went forward but the home side were unrattled by their superior opposition and centre Phil Jones nearly reduced the arrears but the referee adjudged a forward pass.

Just before the interval Bradford added a second try when Leon Pryce put in his brother Karl for his third touchdown of the season.

The second half continued in much the same vain as the Bulls quickly added two more tries.

Last season's top tryscorer Lesley Vainikolo, who later went off a leg injury, barged his way over and, shortly after, Harris claimed his second of the night.

There was further bad news for the Centurions as Oliver Wilkes was strecthered off and Rob Parker, on as a substitute, made matters worse when he went over under the posts.

Leigh did get off the mark three minutes later when Knott crashed over after a good break by Jason Kent and Jones added the conversion.

But that would be the end of the home side's scoring as the Bulls added four more tries in the closing stages.

Karl Pryce made the most of an incisive run from Deacon before his brother Leon touched down after exchanging passes with Harris.

Deacon, who kicked five goals, collected his first try of the game after another quick break and Jamie Langley completed the scoring.
