Coach Brian Noble commented afterwards "At times we played with pumpkins on our heads. There are a lot of dumb things that we can fix."

The Broncos managed to keep the Champions scoreless in what was a forgettable first half for Bradford. London delighted their own fans when winger Dominic Peters followed up man of the match Dennis Moran's corner kick to score the opening try after only five minutes. Two Tony Martin penalty goals extended their lead to 8-0 by half time, and with the Bulls also having prop Stuart Fielden placed on report for an off the ball charge on Jim Dymock things were not going well.

The Bulls introduced scrum half Paul Deacon from the bench in the second half, but when Dennis Moran intercepted his pass to register the Broncos second try it looked like being decisive.

However, tries by Tevita Vaikona and two for Brandon Costin in the final twenty enabled the Bulls to get back into the game, but they only managed to draw level at 14-14 with only one one of the touchdowns being converted.

It was to prove costly, as Moran slotted a late drop goal off the crossbar to seal the points for London.
