A hotly disputed penalty by Paul Deacon, the Touch Judges disagreed as to the validity of the goal, gave the Bulls a lift and Nathan McAvoy's try and Deacon's superb Touchline conversion gave the Bulls the lead for the first time.

Paul Anderson, Tevita Vaikona and Joe Vagana all crossed the whitewash and Paul Deacon finished with 6 goals from 6 attempts.
