History
1863 - 1900: In the Beginning
1863: The original Bradford Rugby Club is created founded by Oates Ingham, owner of a Dye works in Thornton Road.
1880 Merge with Bradford Cricket Athletic & Football Club move to Park Avenue.
1884: Bradford win the Yorkshire Challenge Cup . Between 1880 and 1895 becoming one of the country’s most successful Rugby clubs, supplying players for Yorkshire and England.
1895: Bradford are among 22 clubs that secede from the Rugby Football Union after an historic meeting at The George Hotel in Huddersfield, in response to a long running dispute over "broken time" payments to players. These 22 clubs form the Northern Rugby Union.
