Following their return from the 2017 World Cup, both Kear and Grant put pen to paper on deals with the Bulls, enhancing the new look squad ahead of the 2018 season.
Rounding off his first appearance for the club with a win over Halifax RLFC, Grant crossed the whitewash for his first try in the Red Amber and Black strip.
Grant has played for and against Kear, on the international stage with Wales and against the former Batley coach in the Championship.
“John is one of the reasons that I came over to the club, I love how he works and what he has in place for the next three years for Bradford,” said Grant.
“I know that he is well driven and knows how to get results, after playing under him with Wales. I think that he will put his own stamp on the team, he knows how to bond a club together and get them playing as a unit.”
Grant will take the number five shirt and hopes to fulfil a huge roll down the channels alongside a variety of potential centre partners.
Making the switch from London Broncos to Bradford Bulls, Grant wants to be at the forefront of the Bulls’ push for promotion.
“I can’t wait to be a part of the revival and help out. I know that Bradford is a big club and I can’t wait for the challenge ahead in 2018. I’m looking forward to seeing what John does with the team and getting the season started.
“John is a really good coach and I’m going to enjoy working under him. It’s going to be a real pleasure working with him at a club level to get Bradford back up to where they should be.”
